| Biography David H. Gleason, M.A. is founder and Principal Consultant at IT for Progress. Since 1983, David has provided IT solutions to hundreds of clients. He founded Practical Consulting Services in 1991 to provide high quality IT systems to businesses and non-profit organizations. In 1996 he changed the name to Information Ethics to focus on IT project success, IT Impact analysis and education. Following a successful 3 year leadership of IT at Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts, David now focuses his consulting energies on progressive, mission-based organizations. A widely published communicator, David has spoken at international conferences on technology and ethics issues such as Computer Ethics, Philosphical Enquirey (CEPE), at ETHICOMP in Rotterdam, Rome, Gdansk, Lisbon and Greece, and at various colleges and universities, including: LeMoyne College, Boston University School of Management, Holy Cross College, Boston College, Dartmouth College, New England School of Law and Massasoit Community College. He has taught ethics courses at the Beacon Hill Seminars, and has been published and quoted in U.S. and international publications such as the Handbook of Business Strategy. David holds an M.A. in Religion from Boston University and a B.A. in Physics & Philosophy from Connecticut College, and was certified as a Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute.
